We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and leadership skills, with the ability to drive sophisticated issues to resolution.

The Software Development Engineer will play a key role in developing technical relationships with peers and partners, driving the execution of comprehensive automation scripts, and actively contributing to various other Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) practices.

  • Develop technical relationships with peers and partners
  • Drive execution of comprehensive automation scripts for Test and Build Infrastructure
  • Contribute to various CICD practices
  • Collaborate closely with multiple teams to deliver key solutions
  • Monitor and maintain the health of build jobs on a regular basis
  • Triage failures, troubleshoot problems, raise bugs, and follow up with teams for timely issue resolution

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of industry experience in automation and programming
  • Proficient in Python and ability to write clean and debuggable software
  • Experience working on automation infrastructure
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies, preferably in networking domains
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tooling frameworks, including Jenkins, Bamboo, Travis-CI, and similar
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, and similar
  • Able to work on complex infra code suites
  • Well-versed in writing test cases for code
  • Good knowledge of infrastructure, including servers, networks, and automation technologies

Desired Experience:

  • Knowledge of Go is a plus
  • Knowledge of Linux, Windows, and other operating systems
  • Good understanding of networking technologies is desired
  • Familiarity with cloud concepts and technologies
  • Ability to work in high-paced environments
  • Analyze current products and propose new solutions
  • Familiarity with Prometheus, Kubernetes, Postgres, Minio, Kibana, Chef, and Ansible

Academic Credentials:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
