Job Overview

As a senior data engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale lakehouse architectures to unify data lakes and warehouses. You will work with diverse data workloads, including RDBMS and NoSQL systems, to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement petabyte-scale lakehouse architectures using Apache Iceberg and Delta Lake.
  • Develop and optimize streaming pipelines using Kafka and Pulsar to process structured/unstructured data with low latency.
  • Build scalable, high-throughput data applications using Java.
  • Use modern data warehouses and query engines like Trino and Spark for sub-second operations and analytics on real-time data.
  • Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Cassandra, and MongoDB systems to manage diverse data workloads.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across multi-tenant systems.
  • Manage production infrastructure for reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Stay ahead of trends in the data ecosystem to drive technical excellence.
  • Build and maintain Web APIs to expose data services internally and externally.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering with large-scale systems.
  • Expert proficiency in Java for data-intensive applications.
