About the Senior Audit Manager Role:

The incumbent executes and delivers all audit engagements assigned to them by senior management. They support relevant stakeholders in delivering the audit plan through sub-portfolio ownership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports the management of a global financial crimes portfolio, risk universe sections, risk assessments and audit planning and execution.
  • Manages the audit plan for assigned portfolios considering relevance throughout the year, proposing changes as necessary.
  • Takes ownership of effective scheduling of resources to complete team deliverables, accurately reflecting availability and assignment requirements.
  • Manages assigned areas of responsibility, leading team members and stakeholders (both internal and external) to achieve objectives.
  • Plans engagements, coordinating audit team activities to identify relevant key risks, overseeing quality audit planning documentation on time and utilising agile audit techniques.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in financial crime internal audit gained in the financial services industry.
  • Experience in primary businesses and products including corporate banking, investment banking, transaction banking and global markets.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current financial crimes rules, regulations and expectations within the EMEA region, along with solid knowledge of risk management frameworks and associated controls.
  • Business fluency in English and international work experience.
  • Data analytics expertise.
  • Agile auditing experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present audit opinions at an executive level.
