Job Title: Operations Planning Manager

This pivotal role is instrumental in optimizing raw material blending and production planning across global operations. The focus lies on achieving cost efficiency, quality control, and utilizing AI-driven analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Global Blend Scheduling: Develop and manage blend schedules for pet coke feedstock to ensure optimal results.
  • Inventory and Production Monitoring: Track GPC inventories and CPC production rates, ensuring alignment with shipment schedules.
  • Cost Optimization Strategies: Evaluate sourcing options and logistics to minimize costs while meeting CPC quality standards.
  • AI-Powered Modeling: Build and maintain business models using AI tools and Linear Programming (LP) for predictive planning purposes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Commercial, Technical Services, and Operations teams globally to drive synergy.
  • SAP Transaction Management: Handle SAP transactions and generate reports on production, inventory, and key performance indicators.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in planning/blending, preferably in the carbon/metallurgical industries.
  • Strong LP modeling and analytical skills.
  • SAP and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis and optimization.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and adaptability in a global team environment.
