About the Role

We are seeking a talented Electronics Design Automation Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of customer hardware design automation tools. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining tools that support the design and validation of PCB platforms using Qualcomm chipsets.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and enhance design automation tools for PCB/platform design and validation

- Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers to define requirements and ensure seamless integration of tools

- Provide training and support to internal teams and customers on the use of design automation tools

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field, and 6+ years of experience in hardware engineering or related work experience

- Strong understanding of hardware design principles, including PCB layout and circuit design, SI simulation methodology, and design compliance methodology

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong communication and collaboration abilities

Technical Skills

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and scripting languages

- Experience with EDA tools and software used in PCB and silicon design
