Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned ECM developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in end-to-end Alfresco platform development, support, and enhancement with strong Java/J2EE and Spring Boot skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Alfresco Development: Design and develop solutions leveraging Alfresco object model, security model, taxonomy, search, user interface, and workflow.
  • Alfresco Implementation: Work extensively on Alfresco and Alfresco Share for medium to large-scale implementations.
  • Prototype Development: Develop Alfresco-based prototypes/POCs to demonstrate capabilities in document management, collaboration, BPM, and records management.
  • Java Component Integration: Build and integrate Java/J2EE components with document management systems.
  • API Development: Implement and maintain RESTful web services and APIs.
  • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time using Agile methodologies. Provide troubleshooting and technical support for Alfresco solutions.
  • Deployment and Configuration: Work on deployment, configuration, and tuning using Tomcat and relevant middleware.
  • Database Integration: Contribute to database integration and optimization (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL).
  • Documentation and Version Control: Ensure proper documentation, version control, and CI/CD using tools like Git, Maven, and Jenkins.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Alfresco Expertise: Strong expertise in Alfresco and Alfresco Share development.
  • Programming Skills: Experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Web Services, REST APIs.
  • AWS Knowledge: Hands-on knowledge of AWS cloud services.
  • Database Skills: Experience with Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.
  • SOLR and ECM Knowledge: Good understanding of SOLR and ECM System Implementation.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Tool Proficiency: Proficiency with tools and platforms: Maven, Jenkins, Git, UNIX, JIRA.
  • Operating System Exposure: OS exposure: Windows (10/XP/7) and Linux.
  • Agile Methodologies: Working knowledge of Agile Methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consulting and Client Interaction: Strong consulting and client interaction experience.
  • Enterprise ECM Projects: Experience in delivering end-to-end Alfresco ECM projects in enterprise environments.
  • Enterprise Security and Compliance: Knowledge of enterprise security, compliance, and governance in ECM systems.
