The Digital Evolution is a pivotal aspect of driving PepsiCo's ambitions towards being FASTER, STRONGER, and BETTER. Under the Strategy Transformation (S&T) organization, our team designs, builds, and stands up digital solutions across the value chain, optimizing efficiency, reducing costs, and maintaining high ROI.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in software development activities and collaboration across the S&T organization. As the cornerstone of scalable digital transformation, Software Engineering enables positive user experiences.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the user experience, product, IT, and process engineering teams to develop new products and prioritize deliverables across S&T core priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4 years of relevant software development experience
  • Commanding knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
  • Strong system design fundamentals and experience building distributed scalable systems
  • Expertise in Java and its related technologies, including RESTful or GraphQL API
  • 2-3 years of experience with large scale messaging systems such as Kafka
  • Experience with non-SQL DB and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
