Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Network Infrastructure Specialist to drive our cloud network infrastructure projects.

This is an in-depth technical role requiring 6-8 years of experience in data center networking and 1-3 years in Software Defined Networking (SDN) specifically in private cloud & virtualization domain.

Responsibilities:
  • Architect, design, install, maintain, and manage Cloud Network Infrastructure including physical and SDN network framework.
  • Evaluate and ensure high level of availability, flexibility, and network performance while maintaining SLA.
  • Maintain, audit, review, and update infrastructure documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests.
  • Oversee a team of Network Engineers, provide technical expertise and guidance, evaluate team member performance, and provide feedback.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and capacity trends to assess risks and provide recommendations.
  • Prepare and deliver solution presentations or technical proposals for cloud network infrastructure projects.
  • Manage and/or deliver technical validation activities including Proof of Concept.
Requirements:

This role demands proven technical expertise, strong fundamentals, and understanding of Data Center network technologies including WAN & Routing, Security, Switching, QoS, Network monitoring Protocols & Tools, and SDN Technologies.

  • At least 6-8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining DataCenter networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and wireless.
  • Strong fundamentals and understanding of WAN & Routing technologies (Leased lines, GRE VPNs, IPSEC based VPNs, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VRRP/HSRP, EVPN etc.), Security technologies (Firewalls, ACLs, NAT, IPS, IDS, RADIUS, TACACS+, IAS, VPN technologies), Switching (VLANs, VXLAN LACP, EtherChannel, 802.3ad, VTP, 802.1q), and QoS.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring Protocols & Tools (SNMP, NetFlow , Zabbix, PRTG etc.) and Good Knowledge of SDN Technologies.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly narrow down and resolve problems.
  • Highly motivated individual with effective project management skills and completion of complex network tasks with little guidance.
  • Motivated learner with ability to quickly learn new technologies and keep networking skills current with emerging technologies.
  • Experience in handling a team of minimum 4 people in the above role.
