SAP ABAP Development Expert (4-8 Years Experience)

Overview

Deliver innovative SAP solutions that drive business efficiency and transformation for our clients as an SAP ABAP Development Expert.

Key Responsibilities :

  • SAP ABAP Development :
    • Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs and enhancements based on business requirements.
    • Create and optimize complex reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW) to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • SAP HANA Integration :
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SAP HANA solutions, focusing on data modeling and performance tuning.
    • Leverage HANA capabilities such as SQL Script and Calculation Views to enhance data processing and analytics.
  • Implementation Projects :
    • Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation projects, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and go-live support.
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Solution Design :
    • Engage in solution architecture discussions and contribute to the design of scalable, efficient, and innovative SAP solutions.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed changes and new initiatives.
  • Technical Documentation :
    • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, testing plans, and user manuals, to ensure clarity and knowledge transfer.
    • Maintain version control and documentation for all ABAP developments and enhancements.
  • Support and Maintenance :
    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing ABAP programs and SAP HANA solutions to ensure system integrity and performance.
    • Collaborate with the support team to resolve issues and implement continuous improvements.
  • Mentoring and Training :
    • Mentor junior consultants and team members, sharing knowledge and best practices in ABAP development and SAP HANA.
    • Facilitate training sessions to enhance team capabilities and improve overall project delivery.
  • Collaboration :
    • Work closely with functional consultants, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
    • Actively participate in project meetings and status updates, providing insights on technical challenges and progress.

Salary Range: ₹2.3L - ₹3.5L per annum (approximate), depending on experience.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong understanding of SAP HANA.
  • Proven experience in at least two full SAP implementation lifecycles.
  • Strong knowledge of ABAP programming techniques, including Object-Oriented ABAP and enhancements.
  • Familiarity with SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO) and integration processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., ABAP, HANA) are a plus.
