Electrical Engineer for PCB Design

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a PCB Designer. As a key member of our design engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing printed circuit boards (PCBs) for various audio and video products.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop PCB layouts from concept to completion using Altium, Cadence, or other equivalent software tools.
  • Collaborate with the design engineering team to ensure PCB designs meet technical specifications and industry standards.
  • Work closely with the NPI team to ensure PCB release documentation is complete and improves product manufacturability.
  • Provide engineering support for end-of-life (EOL) component management and obsolescence mitigation.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, PCB layout files, and bill of materials.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to peers and design partners.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in PCB design, preferably in the commercial or professional video or audio/video markets.
  • Excellent knowledge of PCB design principles, including analog and digital circuit design, signal integrity, and EMC/EMI mitigation techniques.
  • Proficient in Schematic Capture, PCB Layout, and Simulation using Altium, Cadence, or similar tools.
  • Experience with BOM management, DFA, DFM, DFT, and EMI-EMC standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to mentor junior designers and contribute to the development of company-wide design standards.
