Your Responsibilities

You will:

  • Solve complex perception challenges in cooking using deep learning techniques (e.g., regression, segmentation, classification, object detection)
  • Train, evaluate, and deploy transformer-based vision models to identify ingredients, track food changes during cooking, and optimize recipe customization
  • Own the end-to-end pipeline for ML capabilities – from concept to dataset collection to prototype development and production deployment
  • If you're familiar with language models, you'll also have opportunities to fine-tune LLMs on our use cases and customize recipes in real-time using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)

Your Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong math and ML fundamentals – not just using pre-trained models or scikit-learn
  • Experience working with PyTorch to train and debug deep models
  • Graduate from top-tier institutions (IITs, NITs, IISC) with 1-3 years of industry experience
  • Comfortable in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment with high ownership
  • Curiosity, building skills, and a willingness to experiment
  • Deep learning expertise – CNNs, RNNs, transformers, optimization, generalization, etc.
