About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated research assistant to support our team in data-driven policy support.

As a research assistant, you will conduct primary and secondary research on topics related to education, entrepreneurship, and social development, collecting reliable data and providing evidence-based recommendations to inform our international initiatives and strategies.

• Communicate complex research concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\
• Support the development of research methodologies and protocols.\
• Participate in regular project meetings and contribute to the success of the research team.\
• Assist in reviewing and refining research proposals and reports.\
• Perform other tasks as needed to support the success of the research team.\
• Develop and implement effective strategies for data collection, analysis, and presentation.\
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends in research and data analysis.\
• Continuously improve research skills through training and professional development opportunities.\
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to complex research challenges.\
• Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance the quality and impact of research projects.\
• Assist in managing and maintaining a network of academic and professional contacts.\
• Engage in knowledge-sharing activities with colleagues and stakeholders to promote best practices in research and data analysis.\

• Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:\

  • Possess a strong educational foundation in research methods, statistics, and analytics.\
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.\
  • Proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite, with experience in statistical software (e.g. R, Python) or data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau).\
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and high level of accuracy.\
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets, identify trends, and present findings effectively.\
