Job Description:

Procurement Strategist and Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Strategist and Team Lead to join our team at CTRL M. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to oversee the procurement strategy and operations for our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with our goals, analyzing market trends and supplier performance to inform procurement decisions, and building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers.

This role also involves leading negotiations for contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Procurement Management:
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with our business objectives.
    • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform procurement decisions.
  • Supplier Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and manage supplier risk.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management:
    • Lead negotiations for contracts and agreements with suppliers.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Budget Management:
    • Monitor spending and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and priorities.
    • Support product development and operational initiatives through effective procurement strategies.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in procurement.
    • Utilize data analysis to drive decision-making and improve procurement practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in supplier management and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Experience in Print industry / FMCG / Pharma.
