About the Role

This is a senior engineering position responsible for the management and operation of building management systems across large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works related to HVAC, chilled water plants, utility systems, and building management system integration.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of central chiller plants, air handling units, cooling towers, pumps, valves, piping, and controls.
  • Integrate building management platforms with chillers, HVAC equipment, electrical panels, and safety systems.
  • Ensure project milestones are met as per schedule and budget.
  • Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, consultants, and internal teams to achieve execution targets.
Technical Requirements:
  • Review building management system, HVAC, and mechanical engineering design drawings, bills of quantity, equipment specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Validate system architecture for building management systems, HVAC, chiller plant managers, SCADA/DCS, and utility monitoring systems.
  • Ensure adherence to ASHRAE, ISHRAE, IS codes, NBC, and international standards.
Quality & Safety Management:
  • Implement quality assurance and control checks for equipment installation, piping, cabling, and control systems.
  • Enforce health, safety, and environment practices during site execution in compliance with safety standards.
  • Conduct factory acceptance tests and site acceptance tests for critical systems.
Operations & Handover:
  • Conduct performance testing of chiller plants and building management system dashboards.
  • Optimize plant operation through automation, control strategies, and energy efficiency.
  • Prepare operation and maintenance manuals, as-built drawings, and training sessions for facility teams.
  • Support project handover to facility management teams with complete documentation.
