Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a software tester with a focus on automation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and BDD Cucumber.

They should also be proficient in writing clean, scalable test scripts in JavaScript, applying object-oriented programming principles.

Candidates must collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.

Additionally, they should perform functional, regression, and integration testing for payment applications involving wires, SWIFT or SEPA payment schemes.

Analysis of test results, identification of defects, and collaboration with development teams to resolve issues are also essential skills.

Proficiency in test management tools, version control systems, and CI/CD tools is highly desirable.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities, are required for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Develop and execute test plans, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Analyse test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing activities and results.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
  • Proficiency in Selenium, BDD Cucumber, and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of OOP concepts and their application in test automation.
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and version control systems (e.g., Git Bitbucket).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
