Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to lead and manage the financial operations of our organization. This role demands a high level of attention to detail, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and reviewing, updating and preparing business plans and forecasts in collaboration with senior management.
  • Prepare and present accurate financial reports and MIS to management, analyzing performance to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee the preparation of quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (e.g., Ind-AS, IFRS) and legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax obligations, including GST, corporate taxes, and related matters, overseeing tax assessments, filing, and disputes in coordination with external tax consultants.
  • Implement maker-checker controls for financial transactions and act as the authorized signatory within prescribed limits for banking operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage cash flow and banking relationships for credit facilities and day-to-day operations, controlling the treasury function to ensure sufficient cash flow for day-to-day operations and effective deployment of surplus funds in various instruments ensuring safe and high returns.
  • Communicate effectively with investors, building strong relationships with stakeholders and leveraging ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Tally) to streamline financial processes.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years in finance or accounting, with at least 7-8 years in a senior role.
  • Proven expertise in budgeting, tax management, auditing, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Tally).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.

Benefits:

  • Working days will be Monday to Saturday, with the 2nd and 4th Saturdays off.
  • Official working hours will tentatively be 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
