Regulatory Reporting Specialist

Purpose and Scope:

The primary objective of this role is to ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports. This entails comprehensive product audits, compliance checks, and adherence to jurisdictional guidelines.

  1. Conduct Comprehensive Product Audits: Thoroughly examine products to guarantee adherence to regulatory standards.
  2. Monitor Regulatory Compliance: Implement daily checks to maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing regulations.
  3. Develop Internal Control Frameworks: Establish robust frameworks for banking products to ensure ongoing compliance.
  4. Implement Regulatory Circulars: Track and implement relevant circulars with a focus on KYC-related guidelines.
  5. Prepare Regulatory Reports: Accurately prepare reports as per jurisdictional requirements.
  6. Review Data Sources: Validate and reconcile data sources used for reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  7. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with internal teams (Finance, Risk, Compliance) to gather data and ensure report accuracy.
  8. Maintain Documentation: Keep strong documentation and audit trails for all submissions.
  9. Support Data Submissions: Assist in submitting data to compliance, internal audit teams, and regulators.
  10. Data Analytics Insights: Leverage data analytics for valuable insights and proficiency in data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
  11. Regulatory Upgrades: Assist in implementing new regulatory reporting requirements and upgrades to reporting systems.

This individual will act as a catalyst in managing Entire Control across the entity Life-cycle (Onboarding, post-Modifications, and Closure). The incumbent must provide thought leadership and process improvement initiatives by demonstrating Control across Audit observations, good performance across RISK scorecards, and ensuring Compliance for reporting to relevant external and Internal authorities and control functions.

A strong understanding of KYC regulations, banking product lifecycles, customer onboarding processes, and other online-based certifications for Name Screening are essential.
