Job Opportunity: Embedded Systems Expert

We are seeking an accomplished engineering professional to assume the role of Assistant Vice President, Practice Lead - Embedded Systems.

This is a pivotal position that demands extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices, AI implementation in the Engineering process, and a keen ability to drive innovation and excellence in our projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide authoritative guidance on embedded system design, development, and implementation. Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes to ensure optimal solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in embedded systems. Propose innovative technologies and methodologies to enhance product offerings.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards for embedded system development. Conduct thorough testing and validation to guarantee reliability and performance.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide training sessions to augment team capabilities. Share knowledge through workshops and seminars.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in embedded system development, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, familiarity with Linux and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Experience in embedded systems development with a good understanding of embedded software development, including C/C++, RTOS, microcontroller architectures, and communication protocols like CAN, SPI, I2C, and UART.
  • Knowledge of FPGA, System design, verification and validation, and test automation.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies with a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects from concept to production.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
  • Experience with IoT applications and gen AI integration.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices related to embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
