We are looking for a visionary Lead Data Engineer to spearhead the development of our Enterprise TruRisk Platform.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting a highly scalable, distributed SaaS based Security Risk Prioritization product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Thought Leadership: Provide technical vision and leadership in data platform design, roll out and evolution.
  • Tech Lead: Liaise with product teams, professional services and sales engineers on solution reviews and represent engineering in such conversations.
  • Technology Explorations: Drive technology roadmaps and explorations.
  • Cross-Functional Expertise: Serve as a technical lead on demanding cross-functional departments.
  • Architecture and Design: Ensure the quality of architecture and design of systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: In computer science or equivalent.
  • 8+ Years of Experience: Total experience.
  • Big Data Expertise: 4+ years of relevant experience in design and architecture Big Data solutions using Spark.
  • Engineering Expertise: 3+ years of experience working with engineering resources for innovation.
  • Data Pipeline Knowledge: 4+ years of experience understanding Big Data events flow pipeline.
  • Performance Testing: 3+ years of experience in performance testing for large infrastructure.
  • Search Solutions: 3+ years of in-depth experience in understanding various search solutions solr/elastic.
  • Kafka Expertise: 3+ years of experience in Kafka.
  • Data Lakes: In-depth experience in Data lakes and related ecosystems.
  • Messaging Queue: In-depth experience in messing queue.
  • Scalable Architecture: In-depth experience in giving requirements to build a scalable architecture for Big data and Micro-services environments.
  • Caching Components: In-depth experience in understanding caching components or services.
  • Presto Technology: Knowledge in Presto technology.
  • Airflow: Knowledge in Airflow.
  • Scripting and Automation: Hands-on experience in scripting and automation.
  • RDBMS/NoSQL: In-depth understanding of RDBMS/NoSQL, Oracle , Cassandra , Kafka , Redis, Hadoop, lambda architecture, kappa , kappa ++ architectures with flink data streaming and rule engines.
  • ML Models Engineering: Experience in working with ML models engineering and related deployment.
  • Secure Big Data Clusters: Design and implement secure big data clusters to meet many compliances and regulatory requirements.
  • Large-Scale Systems: Experience leading the delivery of large-scale systems focused on managing the infrastructure layer of the technology stack.
  • Performance Benchmarking: Strong experience in doing performance benchmarking testing for Big data technologies.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Development Life Cycle: Experience leading development life cycle process and best practices.
  • Big Data Services Administration: Experience in Big Data services administration would be added value.
  • Agile Management: Experience with Agile Management (SCRUM, RUP, XP), OO Modeling, working on internet, UNIX, Middleware, and database related projects.
  • Mentoring and Training: Experience mentoring/training the engineering community on complex technical issue.
  • Project Management: Project management experience.
