Job Description:

  1. Develop expertise in Radio Frequency (RF) hardware and system design, characterizing components such as PLL, LNA, Mixer, PA, Filter, Coupler, and Switch.
  2. Design and create schematics using OrCAD Capture, guiding PCB teams for optimal RF PCB layout and routing.
  3. Measure critical RF parameters like Harmonics, IP3, Noise Figure, Gain, P1dB, and VSWR using lab equipment such as Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer, Vector network analyzer, Power meter, and Signal Generator.
  4. Utilize industry-standard tools like ADS, AWR, and HFSS to streamline the design process.
  5. Contribute to the development of Radar subsystems and systems by creating module-level architectures and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate on frequency planning, power budget analysis, and compliance with specifications/requirements.
  2. Design efficient module-level architectures for RF sub-systems, ensuring seamless integration.
  3. Document project designs, reviews, test procedures, ATP/QTP, and other critical aspects.
  4. Promote teamwork and collaboration among Digital Hardware, FPGA RTL, Software, and Mechanical teams.
  5. Play a key role in testing, integration, and qualification of systems.

Mandatory Skills:

  1. Proven experience in TR Module Design, CW/Pulsed Power Amplifier design, Synthesizer Design, Up/Down Convertor Design, and Lumped/Distributed element filter design.
  2. Leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of successfully leading a team of 2 or more Engineers (Design & Sr. Design Engineers).
