Senior Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team at Vertiv. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for the procurement of critical items such as sheet metal cabinets, wire harnesses, fuses, and switchgear.

• Procure Class C items, including sheet metal cabinets, wire harnesses, fuses, and switchgear.
• Release Purchase Orders (POs) generated by the Planning Department.
• Foster timely delivery from suppliers through effective coordination and follow-up.
• Optimize inventory levels to ensure space efficiency at our plant.
• Manage Supplier Delivery Ratings, Buying Plans, Open POs, and other tasks related to procurement.
• Understand Import and Shipment Terms, as well as Customs Clearance processes.
• Develop expertise in Supplier Management, Material Ordering, and Tracking.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• An Engineering Diploma or Degree, or a Material Management Degree/Diploma.
• A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a Purchase Department.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000-$160,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This figure is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and industry standards.
