Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Piping Design Engineer with extensive experience in piping, HVAC design, and 3D modeling tools to lead our engineering projects.

  • Oversee piping design and layout activities for complex engineering projects.
  • Prepare and review piping GA drawings, isometrics, MTOs, and support drawings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (process, structural, mechanical, instrumentation, etc.).
  • Perform clash detection and resolve design issues using advanced 3D modeling tools.
  • Evaluate project specifications, codes, and industry standards for compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers.
  • Engage with global clients professionally, capturing requirements and delivering effective design solutions.
  • Assess client requirements and execute design-related tasks based on inputs.
  • Familiarity with marine classification societies, standards, and rules is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Deliver design packages timely while adhering to project schedules and quality benchmarks.
  • Proactively identify risks, deviations, and propose solutions to maintain design integrity.
  • Coordinate with procurement and vendors for equipment/piping interface requirements.
  • Support fabrication, installation, and commissioning teams with design clarifications and site queries (as needed).
  • Develop design documentation, reports, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure designs comply with project specifications, client standards, international codes, and classification society rules.
  • Perform 3D modeling, clash detection, and resolve design issues using advanced tools.
