This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- We are seeking an ambitious publishing professional to join our growing team as a Peer Review Administrator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage peer review processes efficiently using Scholar One Manuscripts TM.
- Identify suitable peer reviewers for cutting-edge medical research through research and collaboration with international experts.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks within deadlines.
- Maintain effective communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes accordingly.
- Postgraduate qualification in Education or related field (MA/MEd).
- Knowledge and understanding of journal peer review processes.
- Interest in academic publishing and up-to-date knowledge of market trends.
- Strong command of English spelling and grammar.
- Experience with process-driven workflows and customer-facing roles.
- Flexibility to adjust to changes in work plans or assignments.
- Good persuasion and influencing skills, showing empathy for others' viewpoints.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
