Job Summary:

Viraaj HR Solutions is seeking a highly skilled SAP HANA Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and integrity of our SAP system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, including HANA databases.
  • Manage system performance and efficiency through tuning and optimization.
  • Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect SAP systems and data.
  • Coordinate with functional teams to support SAP application deployments and upgrades.
  • Perform system upgrades and patches in accordance with best practices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end users and resolve user-reported issues.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams on system integration and interface management.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and for SAP systems.
  • Lead and participate in system performance testing and tuning activities.
  • Conduct system health checks and apply proactive maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and tools within the SAP environment.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of SAP system processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration with a focus on HANA databases.
  • Proficiency in SAP HANA database administration and performance optimization.
  • Experience in SAP system installations, upgrades, and patching.
  • Strong understanding of SAP system monitoring and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP security best practices and implementation.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
  • Experience in disaster recovery planning and for SAP systems.
  • Knowledge of SAP system integration and interface management.
  • Certifications in SAP BASIS and HANA administration are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP cloud platforms and technologies is an advantage.
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager is preferred.
