Research Scientist Position

This role involves designing and synthesizing organic compounds for various applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong theoretical and practical knowledge of organic chemistry principles and techniques.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing organic synthesis routes to target compounds.
  • Purifying and characterizing organic molecules using analytical techniques such as NMR, HPLC, GC-MS, and IR spectroscopy.
  • Analyzing and interpreting experimental data to troubleshoot reactions and optimize synthetic routes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and address project challenges.
  • Maintaining accurate records of experimental procedures, results, and observations.
  • Staying current with literature and technological advancements in organic chemistry to contribute to the development of novel methodologies and technologies.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and best practices in the laboratory environment.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, biotechnology, organic chemistry, or related field(s), or evidence of exceptional ability. 1-2+ years of industrial experience is preferred. A Master's degree in chemical engineering, biotechnology, organic chemistry, or related field(s) is also desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting, are essential. Commitment to safety, compliance, and ethical conduct in scientific research is mandatory.
