About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Linux Automation Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and operation of automated patch, vulnerability, and configuration compliance frameworks across Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) endpoints. The role involves scripting, integration, compliance reporting, and collaboration with security and audit teams in a large-scale enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automated patch remediation for RHEL 7/8/9 systems.
  • Develop and maintain scripts (Bash, Python, YAML) for compliance enforcement.
  • Schedule and deploy OS and application patches in a staged and controlled manner.
  • Integrate patch management with enterprise dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Develop automated remediation playbooks for CVEs and STIG/CIS benchmarks.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Linux system administration and automation.
  • Proven experience in enterprise patch management and compliance frameworks.

Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in RHEL 7/8/9.
  • Strong scripting skills: Bash, Python, YAML.
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Red Hat Satellite).
  • Familiarity with any Patching tools BigFix, ManageEngine etc.
  • Knowledge of integration protocols: SNMP, WinRM, SSH.
