Mixology Specialists

We are seeking an experienced Mixology Specialist to join our team at Horizon Hotel Jobs.

About the Role:

As a Mixology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience in our bar. You will take orders from customers, serve beverages, prepare and mix drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences, and maintain a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take orders from customers and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Prepare and mix drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Ensure the bar is stocked with an adequate supply of ingredients and beverages.
• Clean and maintain the bar area, including glasses, utensils, and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service, engaging with patrons and offering recommendations.
• Check identification and enforce age restrictions to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor and assess customer behavior for signs of intoxication and prevent overconsumption.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and hazard-free environment.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work well under pressure and multitask.
• Familiarity with drink recipes and preparation methods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Work Environment:

Hazmat team members are required to wear protective gear when working in our high-traffic areas. The noise level is moderate and requires good hearing. Physical stamina is required to move around quickly and efficiently. No hazardous materials handling experience is necessary.
