Job Title: IC Layout Manager

At Micron, we're transforming the way the world uses information to enrich life for all. As an IC Layout Manager, you'll play a critical role in designing IC layout for intensive applications like artificial intelligence and high-performance computing solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of talented engineers to design IC layout for custom applications.
  • Develop and implement analog and custom layout solutions to meet schedule and milestone requirements.
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and cultural healthiness.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams across the globe to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks and resource allocations for multiple projects.
  • Manage team performance and development, including hiring and retention.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Micron DRAM India operation as a critical member of the core DRAM leadership team.
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience in analog/custom layout in advanced CMOS processes, including various technology nodes.
  • Minimum 1+ years of people management experience.
  • Expertise in Cadence VLE/VXL and Mentor Graphic Calibre DRC/LVS is a must.
  • Strong skills in layout and floor planning, as well as manual routing.
  • Ability to build and develop a premier analog/mixed-signal layout team.
  • Experience in managing multiple custom IC layout projects.
  • Highly motivated with a passion for detail-oriented, systematic, and methodical approach in IC layout design.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Independent with strong analytical skills, creative thinking, and self-motivation.
  • Capable of working in a cross-functional, multi-site team environment in multiple time zones.
  • Previous work experience in DRAM/NAND layout design is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Strong passion and ability to attract, hire, and retain engineers by motivating them and inculcating an innovation culture.
  • Ability to collaborate with overseas teams to define strategy, plan, and execute across the larger, global organization.
  • Accountable for proper technical solutions implemented by your team.
Education:
  • BE or MTech in Electronic/VLSI Engineering.
