Industrial Trainee

We are seeking a talented and ambitious CA Final student to join our organization as an Industrial Trainee under the ICAI Industrial Training framework. This role offers a dynamic and challenging opportunity to gain practical experience in Risk Management and Internal Controls, with exposure to Business Finance, FP&A, and Financial Statement closure.

The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing team responsible for strengthening internal controls, testing ICFR frameworks, and supporting strategic finance functions. Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in planning and executing internal audits across business functions.
• Participate in operational audits and compliance reviews.
• Assist in walkthroughs and testing of controls as part of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
• Participate in identifying control gaps and developing remediation plans.
• Work closely with different departments to assess process-level risks and recommend improvements.

In addition to Risk Management & Internal Audit, the trainee will have exposure to Business Finance & FP&A, including:

• Assisting in preparing monthly MIS, dashboards, and business performance reports.
• Contributing to budgeting and forecasting exercises across business units.
• Performing Unit economics analysis, margin tracking, and supporting decision-making models.

Financial Reporting & Closure Support will also be a key area of focus, involving:

• Supporting the team in monthly and annual closing processes.
• Coordinating with the external audit team for schedule preparations and audit queries.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A strong conceptual understanding of accounting, auditing, and internal controls.
• A working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
• Hands-on exposure to Internal Audit methodologies and ICFR testing frameworks.
• The ability to work closely with business leaders and control function.
