Capture Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Capture Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying and capturing new opportunities across public and private sectors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • We will perform all capture lifecycle activities, including developing teaming, pricing, and proposal strategies.
  • We scan and evaluate markets to identify potential opportunities.
  • We coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to prepare for upcoming procurements.
  • We review and qualify RFIs and RFPs, driving the proposal process forward.
  • We prepare written proposals by collaboratively developing concepts, gathering information through interviews, writing drafts, and finalizing submissions.
  • We develop and maintain reference databases for technical, management, and past performance.
  • We leverage industry knowledge to create compliant and compelling content.
  • We conduct after-action reviews for all contracts and document lessons learned.
  • We identify necessary adjustments to capture techniques, strategies, and actions based on lessons learned.

Key Requirements:

  • Capture experience for Federal or State procurements.
  • A proven track record of winning staffing and SOW-based proposals in the Public Sector.
  • Demonstrated capability to write clear, logical, and persuasive documents.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with an understanding of cost and financials.
  • Knowledge of GSA and other Federal Schedules.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. English, Journalism, Communications).

  • Impeccable attention to detail is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize, lead, and manage multiple projects and tasks to successful completion.
  • Ability to meet planned and unplanned deadlines.
  • Great attitude, passion, and drive to be a perfectionist.
  • High-energy and competitive nature that seeks results and personal accountability.
