AWS Data Architect

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design end-to-end data architectures using AWS-native services such as Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and RDS.
  • Architect and implement data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines following best practices for scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Define and implement data governance, security, access controls, and data lifecycle management in AWS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business needs.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies in the AWS ecosystem to improve data infrastructure.
  • Support data modeling, data integration, and metadata management.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation, architecture diagrams, and data flow diagrams to support ongoing development and operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in designing and implementing large-scale data architectures on AWS.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality data solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Strong understanding of AWS native services and their applications in data architecture.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
