Expert SAP Consultant for Manufacturing and Plant Maintenance

SAP PP/PM Expertise

  • Requires a deep understanding of production planning processes in the manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent skills in material requirements planning (MRP) for make-to-stock (MTS) and make-to-order (MTO) scenarios.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end shopfloor processes in the manufacturing industry.
  • Hands-on experience in production order execution, troubleshooting, and settlement at various stages.
  • Thorough understanding of production order costing processes.
  • Good knowledge of integration points between PP, FI/CO, MM, SD modules and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Understanding of variant configuration in production orders, super bills of material, super routings, object dependencies, config profiles, variant tables maintenance, price conditions, constraints, ALE transport etc.
  • Proficient in discrete manufacturing production orders, routing configurations, work centers, BoM configurations, and setup.
  • Experience in resolving incidents for SAP PP standard applications and company-specific developments with minimal supervision.
  • At least 10 years of SAP experience in PP support, resolving shopfloor issues, and proactive in controlling background job failures.

Plant Maintenance Expertise
  • Good understanding of SAP Plant Maintenance module standard configuration as per SAP best practices.
  • Thorough knowledge of plant maintenance master data maintenance: PM materials, assemblies, serial numbers, BOMs, maintenance task lists, measuring points, counters, trigger points, PM work centers, and maintenance plans.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to PM order life cycle including printing, work order scheduling, settlement, and related components procurement and tracking.
