The selected individual will conduct market analysis, primary and secondary research on different domains under the web3 ecosystem, authoring deeply analysed thematic reports. They will also spot tomorrow's web3 unicorns today by researching and building theses on emerging Web3 trends.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive diligence (product, people, technology, market) to maximise investment success.
- Lead deep-dive diligence on product, technology, market, and founding teams.
- Source, qualify, and evaluate startups using both top-down and bottom-up approaches.
- Craft compelling investment memos and present directly to the Investment Committee.
- Support negotiations and deal execution with founders, investors, and ecosystem partners.
- Work closely with portfolio companies to help them integrate Web3 capabilities and scale faster.
- Represent the company at top-tier conferences, closed-door investor gatherings, and founder communities.
- Publish articles on emerging Web3 themes to position yourself as an authority in the space.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- This program is designed for high-caliber, high-conviction talent who want to build a career in venture capital or launch a Web3 venture.
- 1+ years' experience in a venture capital, investment firm, top-tier consulting, or a high-impact role in a crypto-native startup or fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds along with entrepreneurial experience or a deep project in internships / freelance roles.
- Deep understanding of crypto ecosystems, particularly in developer growth, community, and protocol positioning.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, juggle multiple stakeholders, and deliver on tight timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of ownership, attention to detail, and operational discipline.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-transparency, and high-trust environment.
