Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of automated testing frameworks for APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated testing scripts using RestAssured or Playwright to ensure faster regression and continuous validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain test automation pipelines using Jenkins integrated within CI/CD workflows.
  • Develop and manage automated testing frameworks for APIs, ensuring complete test coverage and conducting smoke, sanity, regression, and integration testing.
  • Provide detailed test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in API testing, both manual and automated.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Jenkins and REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON/XML formats.
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC, STLC principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in end-to-end automation framework development for APIs.
  • Exposure to web UI automation tools or frameworks.
  • Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries for backend validation.
