Job Opportunity: Electrical Engineering Leadership

Electrical Engineer Role Overview

This position involves leading electrical engineering efforts in the design, development, and implementation of motor control systems for semiconductor capital equipment. As a senior-level electrical engineer, you will be responsible for spearheading the selection and sizing of motors, drives, and motion systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and select motors, drives, and motion systems that meet industry standards for performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture and clarify technical requirements.
  • Develop and implement electrical schematics, I/O lists, cable routing diagrams, and BOMs using SolidWorks Electrical.
  • Manage and maintain product data in PLM systems.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting support for control panels, drives, and I/O systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in electrical design for industrial automation, preferably in semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of drive selection, motor sizing, and motion control principles.
  • Experience with SEMI S14 risk assessment, EN ISO 13849, and SIL/PL compliance.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD; strong knowledge of PLM systems.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting skills for drives, control circuits, and industrial I/O.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic PLC programming knowledge: experience with B&R and Siemens PLCs is an added advantage.
