Lead Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Role: Lead Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Quality Assurance Specialist to join our organization. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing tests and use cases against all product releases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop test strategies, plans, and methodologies in collaboration with the test engineering team.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure all requirements have been tested, defects identified, and documented, impacts assessed, and resolutions provided.
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans and repositories.
  • Develop performance degradation and benchmarking for user-facing functionalities.
  • Communicate product and process information to other members of the QA team and development teams as necessary.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in automation testing in mobile and web applications.
  • Relevant experience in different types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, system, installation, and upgrade testing.
  • Strong understanding of Selenium, Cucumber, JavaScript, JMeter, and Git.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated through test plan creation, defect documentation, and summary presentations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python/core and Advance Java, Web Automation Testing, Automation Framework implementation, and understanding of keyword-driven and hybrid testing approaches.
  • Experience with tools like JUnit, Tricentis Tosca, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and platforms.
