Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Support Engineer to join our team at DigitalOcean. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers through various channels, including tickets, chat, email, and more.

About the Role

As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing timely and effective solutions to their technical issues. You will work closely with our development teams to resolve complex problems and implement new features. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure, system performance, and troubleshooting will be essential in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers through various channels, including tickets, chat, email, and phone.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure, system performance, and application deployment.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and implement new features.
  • Work closely with our sales team to provide pre-sales support and answer technical questions.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 support coverage.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in cloud computing.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to improve knowledge sharing and customer support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, system performance, and technical support.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms, including AWS, GCE, and Azure.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with a focus on problem-solving and troubleshooting.
