SAP FICO Senior Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Senior Consultant with a proven track record in implementing, upgrading and supporting SAP FICO systems. As a FICO Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective functioning of our clients' SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on Incidents, Tickets, Change Requests, and Change Management processes.
  • Closely collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend SAP FICO solutions.
  • Stay current with SAP best practices, industry trends, and upcoming releases to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance and support for SAP FICO module enhancements, upgrades, and integrations with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all FICO-related issues, troubleshooting, and resolution.
  • Read and debug ABAP programs.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or master's in commerce, finance, business administration, computer science, information technology, or MBA (finance or equivalent).
  • 6-8 years of hands-on work experience as an SAP FICO Senior Consultant in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Strong exposure in Financial Accounting i.e., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger Accounting, Taxes, Cost center and Profit center accounting, Asset accounting, Bank Accounting, Controlling.
  • FICO integration with MM & SD Modules, Project System, COPA, Banking - EBS & DME.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
  • Expert understanding of Interfaces, IDocs, and eDocument.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, processes, and best practices.
  • SAP certification in FICO is highly desirable.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is a plus.
