Creative Design Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced creative design manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering outstanding results on well-recognized projects, with a strong focus on creativity, innovation, and problem-solving.

The successful candidate will take ownership of design deliverables from concept through completion, while coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams as needed. Strong project and resource management skills are essential, as is the ability to manage complex tasks and excel at problem-solving using a first-principles approach.

This role requires a deep understanding of visual communication principles, including color theory, typography, and composition. Additionally, experience working with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite is crucial for success in this position.

Responsibilities will include brainstorming and independently producing high-quality artwork across both digital and print formats, executing ideas independently from concept through final output, and planning and developing creative concepts by studying partner schools' brand guidelines and analyzing industry competitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creative Collaboration: Work directly with the product marketing team to develop innovative designs that meet marketing goals and challenges.
  • Execution: Be hands-on and responsible for producing creative work quickly and efficiently, demonstrating the ability to execute ideas independently from concept through final output.
  • Concept Development: Independently plan and develop creative concepts by studying partner schools' brand guidelines and analyzing industry competitors.
  • Project Management: Take complete ownership of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion according to established timelines and securing all necessary approvals for deliverables.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all design deliverables consistently meet quality standards and partner school guidelines, delivering output at a high level of polish and maintaining rigorous self-review.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Art, or a similar field preferred.
  • 5+ years of seasoned creative experience in an agency, startup setting, or as a consultant.
  • Proficient in online and print design, as well as video tools such as Canva, Figma, and InVideo.
  • Advanced skills with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
  • Experience and a keen interest in integrating AI into daily design work are highly desirable.
