Job Title: Master Trainer">

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Master Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting training workshops for teachers and other school stakeholders across India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing need-based capacity building programs with the Head of Department (HOD) and curriculum department.
  • Developing content, case studies, and training modules.
  • Conducting online and offline training sessions for teachers and other school stakeholders.
  • Documenting capacity building activities, handholding visits, and maintaining records regularly.
  • Compiling, analyzing, discussing, and finalizing region-wise specific capacity building needs in consultation with the Head.
  • Frequent field visits to project schools to conduct classroom observations, understand challenges/difficulties of teachers, and support them in overcoming challenges identified.
  • Supporting program teams in identifying and documenting good practices and case studies.
  • Supporting Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) teams in collecting qualitative information as needed.
  • Preparing and submitting reports about developments made towards achieving planned objectives and quarterly/annual reports within specified timeframes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, with good ability in Hindi/Marathi or any other regional language.
  • Excellent presentation/delivery skills.
  • Ability to relate to trainees at all levels.
  • Multitasking and adhering to strict timelines.
  • Excellent people skills with an ability to encourage and motivate people.
  • Hardworking, initiative-taker, and team player reflecting strong commitment towards work.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in computer skills (MS Office).
  • Knowledge or understanding of national policy documents on education, principles of education, and child psychology is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Social Sciences, Social Work, Development Studies.

Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in capacity building/training and post-training support.

Experience in firsthand training with teachers and other stakeholders through facilitation and participatory workshops is mandatory.

Experience in content writing, designing training modules, and testing is desirable.

Conducting Training Need Analysis is a must.
