Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing and delivering academic courses and modules using a learner-centered approach that fosters engagement and inclusivity.
• Preparing and delivering lectures, seminars, tutorials, and practical sessions using appropriate media, including IT-based tools and platforms.
• Engaging students in their learning through interactive and innovative teaching methods, promoting critical thinking and independent learning.

Curriculum Development & Innovation

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to curriculum development, including:

• Ensuring assessments are fair, transparent, and aligned with course learning outcomes, and participating in the marking and moderation of student work.

Student Support and Pastoral Care

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing:

• Academic advising, mentoring, and pastoral care to students, addressing their individual needs and promoting well-being and success.
• Support for academic projects, dissertations, and placements, guiding students in their personal and academic development.
• Leadership and participation in student induction sessions, providing essential information and guidance to new students.

Research and Scholarly Activity
