Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced design engineer with expertise in API 6A equipment to lead the development of pressure control solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles, as well as proficiency in CAD tools and FEA analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement design strategies for pressure control equipment per API 6A standards.
  • Create detailed designs, engineering drawings, and bills of materials using Inventor or similar CAD software.
  • Analyze data from FEA and other mechanical calculations to optimize designs.
  • Evaluate designs against API 6A, ASME, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Provide technical support for prototype testing, failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and engineering change processes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of internal engineering standards.
  • Assist in preparing technical documentation, including material specifications, test procedures, and certification packages.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required); Master's preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering in the oil & gas industry.
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with API 6A product design and certification processes.
  • Proficiency in INVENTOR, VAULT, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and engineering analysis tools (ANSYS, MathCAD, etc.).
  • Familiarity with ASME Section VIII, API 6A, and API Q1 standards is essential.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, heat treatment, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
