Job Description

We are seeking an experienced automation professional to join our team as a Senior Technology Automation Engineer. This is a highly technical role that involves designing and implementing automation software, managing CI/CD pipelines, and developing backend APIs using C# and Python.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices. They will be responsible for implementing and maintaining automation product and component solutions, stewarding the software COE through automation product design reviews, and providing support and troubleshooting for issues affecting automation in production.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or another equivalent applicable STEM field.
  • 5 total years of professional working experience as an Automation, Cloud, DevOps, Software, or Systems engineer.
Technology Skills
  • ADO YAML pipelines and/or GitHub Actions pipelines with GitHub Workflows for both CI and CD.
  • API Management technology such as Azure APIM or MuleSoft CloudHub for managing, publishing, and securing API endpoints.
  • Azure cloud application and infrastructure hosting technologies such as App Services, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, Function Apps, Key Vaults, and SQL DB, C#. and/or Python based software development of backend APIs and console applications.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

While not required, prior experience participating in a software COE, configuration management using Ansible and Ansible Tower, distributed identity management using SailPoint, federated identity management using Okta, and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and TFC via CD pipeline would be advantageous.
