Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Risk Management Specialist to lead the development and implementation of our Enterprise Risk Management framework.

  • Develop an integrated risk reporting framework with a strong focus on strategic risk and de-risking strategies, enabling informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Publish Pillar III disclosures on a quarterly basis, providing stakeholders with transparency into our risk posture.
  • Serve as secretariat to the ERMC, managing directions provided by the committee.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

Financial Performance

  • Contribute to the preparation of the Annual ICAAP document and quarterly ICAAP findings, covering pillar I and pillar II risks.
  • Compute RAROC and Economic capital for various Credit and Treasury verticals, ensuring accurate financial assessments.
  • Provide periodic reports on compliance to KRI/Risk thresholds to senior management and regulators.

Process Efficiency

  • File RCA and LR returns to regulators at stated intervals, maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Regularly review the risk outlook and portfolio quality, recommending risk mitigation measures as necessary.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of Enterprise Risk reports, supporting business growth and risk management.

Qualifications

  • MBA in Finance or Risk Management, Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, or Cost and Management Accountant.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Risk Management from a Nationalized Bank, Private Sector Bank, or Large Financial Institution.
  • FRM/PRM certification is highly desirable.
