As a dynamic and innovative motion graphics designer, you will play a pivotal role in bringing horse racing broadcasts to life.

About the Role
  • This exciting opportunity is for an experienced motion graphic designer to join our creative broadcast team and contribute to the development of engaging graphics that seamlessly integrate live data, storytelling, and visual presentation.
Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and animate custom motion graphics for horse racing broadcasts, showcasing your expertise in designing show opens, transitions, bumpers, on-screen statistics, odds, and race data visualizations.
  2. Create lower thirds, title cards, branded broadcast elements, and collaborate with producers, editors, and sports analysts to translate racing data and narratives into compelling visuals.
  3. Design graphics templates for fast turnaround and live updates during race events, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and network broadcast standards.
  4. Troubleshoot graphics in live broadcast environments and support technical integration with real-time graphics systems.
  5. Maintain a library of reusable templates, assets, and branded elements, staying current with industry trends, motion design tools, and sports coverage formats.
The Ideal Candidate
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in motion graphics design, preferably within sports broadcasting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience with real-time broadcast graphics platforms (e.g., Ross Xpression, Vizrt) is highly desirable.
  • A strong grasp of sports design aesthetics, particularly horse racing data (odds, timings, jockey statistics, race cards).
  • Solid understanding of typography, color theory, pacing, and motion design principles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with rapid turnaround.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
  • A portfolio or demo reel showcasing high-quality motion graphics work, ideally in live or sports television.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A diploma (Bachelor's or Associates) in Motion Design, Broadcast Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Experience working on-site at sports events or in live production environments.
  • Interest in or working knowledge of horse racing formats, terminology, and statistics.
Additional Requirements
  • Hardware/Software Setup: WE360.ai, Sprinto, Trend Micro, GLPT.
  • Deliverables & Reporting: Daily reconciliation reports, sourcing & onboarding compliance, recorded training sessions, regular touchbase meetings, monthly performance scorecards, attendance notifications, adherence to work arrangement and holiday calendar.
