AI Engineering Leadership Role

We're seeking a seasoned engineering leader to spearhead our Full Stack Team, driving technical vision and ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.

As a key member of our team, you'll lead, grow, and mentor a cross-functional group of front-end, back-end, and full-stack engineers. You'll be hands-on in the codebase, setting technical standards, making key architecture and infrastructure decisions, and enforcing accountability throughout the delivery process.

Our ideal candidate possesses 8+ years of engineering experience, including senior-level hands-on coding. They've proven leadership skills in scaling engineering teams, preferably in SaaS/AI/consumer tech environments. Strong expertise in Typescript, Tailwind CSS, React, Node.js, Express.js, VIKE SSR, and Playwright is essential.

Key qualifications include a track record of shipping complex products fast without sacrificing reliability, experience managing Scrum teams, and a passion for AI and automation. The ability to make tough calls on tech and people decisions, as well as fluency in English, are also must-haves.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead development across Web, Studio, and Shopify applications, ensuring seamless designs from the Design Team are translated into production-quality code.
  • Owning full-stack delivery: front-end and back-end, from implementing features to testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) and deploying to production.
  • Maintaining and evolving our Shopify application, ensuring top performance and long-term maintainability.
  • Implementing SEO technical tasks on the website to maximize visibility and growth.
  • Managing translations across our Web platform, Studio, and Shopify apps for global users.
Required Skills:
  • Typescript, Tailwind CSS, React, Node.js, Express.js, VIKE SSR, and Playwright.
  • Strong expertise in software development methodologies and practices.
  • Scrum methodology and Agile principles.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
