Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data cleansing, transformation, and quality assurance to ensure high-quality datasets.
  • Work with big data technologies such as Apache Spark and Hadoop for large-scale data processing and analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.
  • Build and optimize data models to drive performance and scalability.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools to communicate complex insights effectively.
  • Apply domain knowledge to drive strategic recommendations and business outcomes.
  • Maintain data governance, security, and quality standards to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in data science and big data engineering with proven track records.
  • Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and R.
  • Expertise in data wrangling, ETL tools, and pipeline development with scalable architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, or related big data frameworks.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and performance optimization principles.
  • Domain knowledge in one or more industries (Finance, Retail, Healthcare, etc.).
