Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have around 6-8 years of experience in data center networking with 1-3 years of experience in Software Defined Networking (SDN) specifically in private cloud & virtualization domain.

Main Responsibilities

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining the equipment needed to provide Cloud Network Infrastructure including physical and SDN network framework.
  • Ensuring high level of availability, flexibility, and network performance and maintaining SLA.
  • Maintaining, auditing, reviewing, and updating infrastructure documentation.
  • Working collaboratively with clients and team members on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests.
  • Overseeing a team of Network Engineers, providing technical expertise and guidance where required. Evaluating team member performance periodically and providing feedback.
  • Proactively monitoring and analyzing key performance and capacity metrics to assess risks, business impact and providing recommendations.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and delivering differentiated solution presentations or technical proposals related to cloud network infrastructure.
  • Managing and/or delivering technical validation activities including Proof of Concept.

Requirements

This is an in-depth technical role with 80% technical and 20% managerial capabilities. We require proven experience and ability to provide hands-on technical expertise and mentorship while ensuring compliance of business SLAs and goals.

  • At least 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining DataCenter networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and wireless, Cisco/Juniper/Fortigate firewalls, Load balancer etc.
  • Strong fundamentals and understanding of WAN & Routing technologies, Security technologies, Switching, QoS, Network monitoring Protocols & Tools, SDN Technologies, Advanced troubleshooting skills, and project management.
  • Experience handling a team of minimum 4 people in this role.
