Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain x86 BIOS/UEFI firmware for various platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring up new platforms and port coreboot to different mainboards.
  • Work with Intel FSP codebase and understand coreboot & FSP boot flow.
  • Design and implement coreboot payloads like edk2, SeaBios, and Tianocore.
  • Port UEFI code to FSP and ensure seamless integration with coreboot.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience in x86 BIOS/UEFI development.
  • Expertise in C language and experience with x86 CPU/APU architectures.
  • Familiarity with at least one BIOS code base (AMI, Insyde, or Phoenix BIOS).
  • Experience with opensource coreboot project and mainboard related porting.
  • Understanding of coreboot & FSP build tools and build processes.
