As a key member of our ADAS team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the development of the next-generation ADAS system. Your task will be to contribute to the design and implementation of software modules that maximize components reusability and robustness.

The successful candidate will have a total of 8+ years of experience in application design and development, with a minimum of 3+ years in application design and development. They should have worked on complex automotive projects, owning responsibility for low-level design, implementation, and validation.

We're looking for an experienced professional who has worked with AUTOSAR and has hands-on experience in programming languages like C/C++. A good understanding of Agile SW development process and IPC mechanisms is also essential.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Undertake a variety of tasks and work in a multiple-disciplinary team to mentor junior SW engineers and clearly communicate findings through presentations and reporting
  • Understand requirements and come up with high-level design and decompose them into detailed design
  • Mentor junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices, and DevOps trade-offs
  • Ability to create a software detailed design and support its implementation in software and API interfaces required from internal teams
  • Ability to develop complex software to satisfy design objectives
  • Clearly understand API design for extensibility and portability of software across multiple implementations
  • Excellent communication skills and liaise with the wider global teams within JLR
